As a result of all your happy feet, we will be making donations to the following charities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pret.co.uk\/en-GB\/the-pret-foundation\">The Pret Foundation<\/a> &#8211; \u00a333,108<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/msf.org.uk\/\">Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) (MSF)<\/a> &#8211; \u00a325,158<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.savethechildren.org.uk\/?cid=pse-gp_A17038001-go_001-8B98797FQ&amp;ppc=true&amp;matchtype=e&amp;s_keyword=save%20the%20children&amp;adposition=&amp;s_kwcid=AL!9048!3!548437156776!e!!g!!save%20the%20children&amp;&amp;ppc=true&amp;matchtype=e&amp;s_keyword=save%20the%20children&amp;adposition=&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjw7vuUBhBUEiwAEdu2pGO65aL98HkUvVs8SyS0SEf5O5Dc6HDLpc8PZQeJI7lrHHM_KAEwwhoCAGkQAvD_BwE&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\">Save the Children<\/a> &#8211; \u00a323,892<\/li>\n<li>The John Lewis &amp; Partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnlewis.com\/content\/give-a-little-love\">Give A Little Love<\/a> charities &#8211; \u00a322,063<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.org.uk\/\">The British Red Cross<\/a> &#8211; \u00a318,189<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In total we raised \u00a3122,410 for charity &#8211; tripling how much was donated last year!<\/p>\n<h2>Some steptacular highlights of the 2022 Walkathon<\/h2>\n<p>This year we had not one but 11 \u201cmillionaire\u201d walkers &#8211; if you do the maths, they all walked a minimum of 32,300 steps per day x 31 days!\u00a0 But most walked way more than that from the start and some in fact walked the equivalent of a marathon each day of the entire challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the overall winner, <strong>Sandra Eleut\u00e9rio (<\/strong>aka Sandra_01), from Pret A Manger who walked a staggering 1,561,491 steps (755 miles\/1,215 km). She was followed closely by the rest of the top 11 walkers who left the rest of us in the dust!<\/p>\n<p>2. Dionisio Lucca &#8211; Pret A Manger (2021 winner!)<br \/>\n3. Mahesh Kumar Jeyaraj &#8211; Waitrose<br \/>\n4. Vignesh Maller &#8211; Waitrose<br \/>\n5. Daniella Luca &#8211; Pret A Manger<br \/>\n6. Daniela Grandio &#8211; Pret A Manger<br \/>\n7. Olivia Walsh &#8211; Equal Experts<br \/>\n8. Matt McGuire &#8211; Equal Experts alumnus<br \/>\n9. Gokul Rajendran &#8211; Waitrose<br \/>\n10. Silviu Peride &#8211; Pret A Manger<br \/>\n11. Ben Conrad &#8211; HMRC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team Waitrose DigiOps<\/strong> won the Equal Experts Walkathon 2022 by averaging 30,096 steps per day throughout the entire month. This was a team from Waitrose and John Lewis &amp; Partners and was made up of Daniel Ascher, Veera Ragavan Krishnaraj, Naren Ravichandran, Mahesh Kumar Jayaraj, Gokul Rajendran and Vignesh Maller. While we\u2019d love to name them all, we will just list the following top 10 teams who put their heart and soles (pardon the pun) into making this cut:<\/p>\n<p>2. The Walkie-Talkies<br \/>\n3. HEEL Today, Gone TOEmorrow<br \/>\n4. SML Goes Bananas<br \/>\n5. UK Property<br \/>\n6. JLP Trading &amp; Supply Chain<br \/>\n7. JLP Occo<br \/>\n8. Eurotrash<br \/>\n9. Holy Walkamolies<br \/>\n10.Flacon-ee-s<\/p>\n<p>We once again welcomed participants from the Equal Experts network including our customers, friends and family.\u00a0 And we were thrilled to welcome back many of our friends from Pret A Manger and The Pret Foundation as well as teams from John Lewis &amp; Partners, Waitrose, HMRC, Thames Water, Disney, Awaze and Flaconi.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been wonderful to see the friendly banter, and everyone racking up their steps, with the ultimate goal of doing something good for others who have greater needs than us.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you all for another
